Hometown Heroes
BANNER SPACE STILL AVAILABLE FOR 2026
A limited number of banner spaces remain open for this year. Applications and payment are due by 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, to reserve one of the last spots and have your banner displayed for this year's Veterans Day period.
The Downtown Adrian Main Street DDA is proud to honor local military heroes with light-pole banners along Main and Maumee streets. Military members, their families or friends can sponsor a double-sided banner honoring a service member for $100, which covers printing and two years of display.
Display Schedule
Each year of the two-year sponsorship, the banner will be displayed during:
-
A four-week period spanning two weeks before and two weeks after Armed Forces Day (observed in May)
-
A four-week period spanning two weeks before and two weeks after Veterans Day, Nov. 11
Renewal
Near the end of the two-year term, the DDA will send sponsors a renewal notice. Sponsors who want to keep their banner on display can renew for another two-year term.
Applications AND payment are due by 4 PM on Friday, Oct. 16
